Between 30th August and 4th September 2014 the branch hosted 22 IPA members from Bielsko-Biala in Poland, Wolfsburg in Germany and Mittelkarnten in Austria.

Our theme was “The Best of British” and during the week we showed off the best that the area and Britain as a whole had to offer, including; a visit to Burghley House, a trip to Cambridge, a meeting with the Mayor of Cambridge and the city’s Sergeant at Mace and a day out in London including a visit to the Tower of London to watch the famous Ceremony of the Keys.  We didn’t neglect our guests’ appetites providing them with a traditional roast beef Sunday lunch, fish and chip supper and a hog roast, all accompanied by traditional British beer and a dram or two of Scotch Whisky.
