Professional Exchange 2016

For the fifth time in as many years Cambridgeshire Branch hosted four officers from the Silesia Region of Poland in March this year.  Our guests, Marta, Adam, Piotr and Robert enjoyed a packed 6 days in and around Cambridgeshire as well as visiting London.  Check out the photos in the gallery below.

On a visit to HQ our guests met DCC Alan Baldwin, visited the Force Control Room and the armoury as well as the ANPR and Roads Policing Unit.

In London they took a guided tour of the House of Parliament, had lunch in Leicester Square, visited Covent Garden and were guests of the Yeoman Warders to watch the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London.

Other highlights of the trip included visits to the Harrier Heritage Museum at RAF Wittering, Peterborough and Ely cathedrals, Kings College and a walking tour of Cambridge.

We expect that there’ll be an opportunity for four serving officers/members of police staff to visit Silesia later this year on a return visit.
