Branch Visit to Wolfsburg Friendship Week
In August 2017 12 branch members and partners visited Wolfsburg, Germany and joined members from Poland, Italy, Austria and Romania to celebrate Wolfsburg Branch’s 30th anniversary.

The highlights of the full 5 day event included a guided tour of the mile-long VW factory around which the city is built, a visit to the VW Autostadt, a display of intervention tactics including a water canon and helicopter, a patrol of the nations to the city hall and a cruise on the Mittelland canal.

In between activities we were very well catered for with a first night BBQ, a meal at the marina by the VW arena (home of Wolfsburg FC) and dinner dance, all washed down with liberal amounts of good german beer.
